Who Am I?
I’m Katherine, a Product Designer based in Kitchener, Ontario. I like to approach challenges with a big-picture mindset, thinking beyond individual user perspectives and considering the broader impact of design decisions.
I’ve worked in startup environments, including Vosyn, an AI company focused on eliminating language barriers through voice synthesis. I’m also currently designing ProgressFlow, an app exploring new ways to track and understand progress.
I’m pursuing a Master’s in Digital Transformation & UX Design at the University of Ottawa, building on my Bachelor of Global Business and Digital Arts from the University of Waterloo, where I developed a strong foundation across UX design, business, & technology.
Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors in the sun or sharpening my skills in the kitchen.

UX Aspirations
1. Dream Team
I value being part of a tight-knit design team with a strong work ethic, where collaboration is thoughtful and positive connections are actively fostered.
2. Large-scale Impact
I aspire to contribute to product transformations that make people’s lives easier, creating experiences used by millions on a daily basis.
3. Ethical Design
I believe design should be accessible to all users, respect privacy, and resist manipulation in favor of genuine user trust.
4. Continuous Growth
I never want to fall behind. I seek out new opportunities to develop my skills and stay current with evolving technologies.
